The USC LGBT Resource Center is a proud member of Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa’s LGBT Heritage Month Planning Committee. We are assisting with the Creative Writing/Video Contest. If you know of any high school youth, please encourage them to enter this contest. Selected students can win up to $1000 along with recognition from Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa at the LGBT Heritage Month Ceremony at City Hall.

School District Told to Replace Web Filter Blocking Pro-Gay Sites ›

Students using the computers at Camdenton High School here in central Missouri have been able to access the Web sites for Exodus International, as well as People Can Change, antigay organizations that counsel men and women on how to become heterosexual.

The LGBT Resource Center sponsors a wide range of academic, educational, social programs and advocacy services for the entire campus community including campus supportive Allies. The center works closely with the diverse campus undergraduate, graduate and faculty/staff LGBT organizations along with different campus departments. The center also provides resources and referrals, such as information about neighboring LGBT support services, to all campus members. Learn more about the center and its history.
